"A neighbor you can count on. A voice you can trust."

Hutto is Home.
Let’s Lead It Well.

I moved to Hutto because of the small‑town warmth, the incredible school spirit, and the kind of neighborhood where kids can still play outside until the streetlights come on. This city has given my family so much — and I'm running for City Council Place 1 to make sure Hutto keeps working for the families already here as we continue to grow.

As your council member, I’ll bring a calm, prepared, and professional voice to the dais — focused on streets, services, safety, and opportunity — while respecting the values that make Hippo Nation special.

Meet Brandy

I've called Hutto home since 2019. I've watched this city transform — new neighborhoods popping up, more cars on CR 138, a water bill that keeps climbing, and familiar faces from the softball dugout and school pick‑up lines talking about the same things: “The traffic is getting unbearable.” “Did you see the water bill this month?”

I'm not a politician. I'm a mom, a neighbor, and a community member who believes the best decisions get made when real people — not just developers and contractors — have a seat at the table. I'll show up, listen, do my homework, and always vote with Hutto's families in mind.

“I don't want Hutto to lose the heart that made us fall in love with it. That's why I'm running.”

Our Hutto

Hutto is one of the most vibrant, fastest‑growing, and most diverse cities in Williamson County. Our community is rich with stories from families who've been here for generations and newcomers who drove through downtown, saw the Hippo, and said — “This is it.”

Feel growth is too fast

Our neighbors work hard, cheer loud at Hippo games, volunteer at the Food Pantry, coach little league, and show up for each other. They deserve a City Council member who shows up just as hard for them.

Issues That Matter

These are the real conversations happening at the soccer field, the Farmers Market, and school drop‑off.

Fixing Traffic & Roads

Only 1 in 10 Hutto residents is satisfied with traffic on major roads. Brandy will push for real timelines, funded projects, and a rule that no new subdivision gets approved without a proven plan for the roads that come with it.

Community & Belonging

Hutto is beautifully diverse — and that's one of its greatest strengths. Brandy will make sure City Hall feels as welcoming as your favorite taco truck on a Friday night.

Fair Water & Utility Costs

Your water bill went up again — and you deserve to know exactly why and what's being done about it. Brandy believes growth should pay for growth, not the families already here.

Public Safety

As our city grows, so does the need for well‑resourced first responders and safe neighborhoods. Brandy will stand up for competitive pay, proper staffing, and equipment for Hutto's police and fire teams.

Responsible Growth

The 250‑acre Cottonwood Tract has been stuck in limbo for years — failed deals, lawsuits, and broken promises. Hutto deserves better. Brandy will push for community‑led planning, not backroom negotiations.

Parks & Quality of Life

A great city isn't just roads and utilities — it's the park where your kids play, the trail where you take the dog, and the little league field packed on a Saturday. Brandy will protect and expand the spaces that make Hutto worth living in.

Education & Dual Credit

Did you know your student can earn college credit — or even a full associate's degree — before graduating from Hutto High School, right here in our own backyard?

At the East Williamson County Higher Education Center (EWCHEC) on Innovation Blvd, Texas State Technical College (TSTC) and Temple College offer dual credit and Early College High School programs in cybersecurity, welding, HVAC, robotics, advanced manufacturing, and core academics.

High‑Tech Pathways

Industry‑ready skills in fields like cybersecurity and networking.

Skilled Trades

High‑demand careers in welding, HVAC, and industrial systems.

Core College Credit

English, History, Math, and Science that count toward a degree.

Dual credit courses can be low‑cost or even free for qualifying students. Brandy will make sure every Hutto family knows these opportunities exist.
