Brandy takes an in-depth tour of Hutto’s city facilities — because good leadership means knowing what’s working and what needs fixing.

Most candidates wait until they're elected to learn how a city actually runs. Brandy McCool didn't want to wait.
During the campaign, Brandy accepted an invitation to tour Hutto's city facilities alongside council members and city staff — walking the buildings, asking questions, and listening to the people who keep Hutto's services running every day.
"I don't want to sit at the dais and vote on things I don't fully understand," Brandy said. "The staff at City Hall work hard for this community. The least I can do is show up, learn, and respect what they do."
It's the same philosophy she'll bring to every issue on the council agenda — from road funding to utility rates. Prepared. Present. And always working for Hutto's families.
