Public safety has always been one of Brandy McCool’s top priorities, and that starts with strong relationships between City Hall and the men and women who protect Hutto’s neighborhoods.
During the campaign, Brandy spent time with Constable P. Leal of Williamson County Precinct 4, talking about what officers are seeing on the ground — from traffic concerns to neighborhood safety and mental health calls. Rather than treating law enforcement as a talking point, Brandy listens to their firsthand experience and asks what tools and support they need to keep families safe.
Brandy believes that when elected officials, law enforcement, and residents are all at the same table, communities are safer, trust is stronger, and problems get solved faster. That’s the approach she will bring to every public safety decision on the council — collaborative, informed, and focused on keeping Hutto a great place to live.
